MultiDil YDM is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data.

MultiDil YDM is a “data controller”. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use your personal information. 3. What is personal data?

Personal data is any information about an individual by which a person can be identified. Your name, address, phone number and bank account number are some of the personal data. Personal data does not include data from which the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

4. Data protection principles

We will comply with data protection laws. These laws say that the personal information we hold about you must be:

  • It is collected only for valid purposes that we have clearly explained to you and will not be used in any way incompatible with those purposes.

5. How do we use your personal data?

We will only use your personal data to the extent permitted by law. We will mostly use your personal data in the following situations:

  • When it is necessary for our or third parties' legitimate interests and your interests and fundamental rights do not override these interests.

  • When we need to protect your or someone else's vital interests,

Generally, we do not resort to obtaining permission as a legal basis for the processing of your personal data, except for the e-mail we use within the scope of marketing communication. 6. Personal data we collect from you

Studies

When you request information about any of our services or programs, or request us to make inquiries, we may use your personal information to fulfill your request or to respond to your inquiry. It is among our legitimate interests to use your personal data in this way, so you can get information when you request it.

Apps

When you apply to study for one of our programs, we may collect personal data about you in the following categories:

  • Personal contact information such as name, title, addresses, phone numbers and personal email address.

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Nationality and country of residence

  • Passport number

  • Visa information and immigration status

  • educational background

  • work history

  • Financial resource information

It is in our legitimate interests to collect and use the above information to consider and process your application.

We may also ask for information on whether you have been previously convicted if necessary for your application. Due to our legal obligations, we need to use this information.

Getting an Education

If we contract you to receive training, we may collect additional personal data, including:

  • Bank account details

  • Billing address

  • Credit card and other payment information so that we can process your payment transactions

This information, together with the personal data you have given us, will be used when making the contract we will make with you at the application stage above. We may also collect more personal data about your visa application and immigration status as we have a legal obligation to use this information.

We will collect information about your academic experience and progress throughout your education. We do this in accordance with the contract we made with you, but besides, using this personal data is within our legal interests due to the service we provide to you.

We will collect your personal data regarding your health so that we can make the necessary arrangements and reasonable adjustments, taking into account your well-being, participation and accommodation. We use this information to fulfill our contract with you as well as to fulfill our legal obligations.

If you are registered as an emergency contact, we collect personal data about you. We use this information because it is in the vital interests of individuals.

If you are using an agency to make your application and you will be training with us, we may provide the above categories of personal data from your agency.

Marketing

When you expressly consent to us doing so, we may use your personal data to send you surveys or questionnaires to inform you about special offers and new or existing services that we think may interest you, and to learn more about your needs and interests.

Internal Business Purposes

We may use your personal data for our internal business purposes. It is in our legitimate interests to maintain, monitor and improve the services we offer as a business. If you cannot provide your personal data

If we need to collect your personal data legally and in accordance with the contract we have with you, and if you do not provide the data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have made or will make (for example, when providing you with our goods and services). In this case, we will cancel the product or service you purchased from us, but in such a case we will notify you.

7. When and how do we share your personal data with others?

We may share your personal data with third parties where required by law, where we are required to perform our contract or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.

  • Parents and guardians: If you are under the age of 18, we may share your personal data with your parents or guardians to fulfill your contract if it complies with our legal obligations and is in your vital interests.

  • Other legal entities in the MultiDil YDM group: We may share your personal data with other legal entities in our group as part of our regular reporting activities on company performance, in the context of company restructuring or group restructuring work, or system maintenance support and data hosting.

  • Regulators: We may need to share your personal data when required by a regulator or otherwise lawfully.

  • Others: We may share your personal information with other third parties in the event of our business being sold. In addition, we may be required to share your personal data in situations that allow us to take available legal remedies or limit the harm we can sustain.

8. Transfer of your personal data to other countries

As we are a company that works internationally with employees, institutions and service providers all over the world, we may need to transfer the personal data you give us to other countries that may be outside the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Data protection laws in other countries mentioned may not be comprehensive and may not apply to your personal data.KVKKMay not provide the same level of protection as the contents of  .
