MALTA VISA PROCEDURES

Malta For Student Visa Document List
Student Visa Documents of the Person Who Will Go to Language School

  • English student certificate to be taken from the school, if we graduate, our diploma photocopy.

  • Photocopy and original of the other pages of your passport, excluding the blank pages (must be extended to be valid for 3 more months from the visa expiry date).

  • Original and photocopy of birth certificate is required.

  • All candidates, students, working or non-working; With the e-Government password, you can view the document named  “SGK Registration and Service Documentation” and in the upper right; They should add the original of this document to their files by pressing the "print out with barcode printer" button. If you cannot use e-Government, you can request documents by going to SGK Directorate you are affiliated with.

  • Your biometric photo file should include 2 recent passport size photos with a light background. Visa application centers also have a booth to take photos.

  • If you are working in a company and you will cover your own training expenses in this way, you can view below; You should also prepare the documents in the section called “Sponsor or Employee Documents”.

  • If you are unemployed and do not have a regular documentable income, you must provide the sponsor documents below. Instead of you, the consulate would like to see someone who is your first degree relative as a guarantor. The aim of this guarantor is to let you know that you are in possession of your tuition and €48 per day of stay in Malta and will support you if needed. For this, your supporter must have a regular income and have documents to document it.

  • All candidates must submit their sponsor's bank statements if working, not working. These documents should belong to the last 3 months, should include salary accounts for retirees and employees, and if there are any accounts with money, their breakdowns. Bank statements must be certified by the bank officer with a stamp and signature. Prints from the computer are not accepted.

** Important information about bank statements: the consulate requests that the bank statements be taken within 3 days at the earliest before submitting your visa file. They do not accept previously received transcripts. Therefore, we recommend that you leave your bank statements for the last 3 or 6 months (optional) to be stamped and signed by the bank, just before your appointment day to submit your documents to the visa application center.

  • Preparation of Malta Visa Application forms

  • Travel health insurance

  • A representative receipt from the school showing that tuition fees have been paid

  • Round-trip flight ticket reservations requested by the consulate

  • Accommodation and place information documents, school invoices, school admissions during the education period in Malta

Sponsor or Employee Documentation

  1. If any, photocopies of real estate, title deeds or various values belonging to your name

  2. Tax certificate from the company (photocopy)

  3. Stamped and signed letter from the company on a letterhead stating the date of employment and working at the workplace.

  4. Employment notice from the company

  5. New dated activity certificate (original)

  6. SSI service breakdown of the last six months with square barcode received from e-Government

  7. Trade registry gazette (photocopy)

  8. Signature circular of the company official (photocopy)

  9. Salary slips of the last 3 months

  10. You must obtain your bank statement by requesting it from the bank, with the bank's stamp and signature, for the last 3 months. The bank account must contain the sum of your tuition fee, €48 per day daily sums that may be required when you stay in Malta. To prove this, he needs a bank statement or bank wallet with the stamp and signature of the bank for the last 3 months.

  11. Malta Visa Commitment Sample

1. If you are using a sponsor for your visa application, the following undertaking must be notarized by your sponsor. (Must be at least 15 days before the visa application date.) Attention: A copy of the sponsor's identity card must be attached by the notary public to the back of this undertaking. (only for sponsors)

2. If you are the employee and if you are going to cover your own expenses, you will need to apply for the Malta visa in addition to the above employee documents.The following petition should be written on the letterhead of the company you are used to, with a stamped signature;

If you are a Government Official or your Sponsor is a Government Official

  1. SSI service breakdown of the last six months with square barcode obtained from e-Government.

  2. If any, photocopies of real estate, title deeds or documents of various values belonging to your name.

  3. You must obtain your bank statement by requesting it from the bank, with the bank's stamp and signature, for the last 3 months. The bank should show the money X 48 € on the day of your stay in Malta. To prove this, he needs a bank statement or bank wallet with the stamp and signature of the bank for the last 3 months.

  4. Employment certificate (obtained from the affiliated institution)

  5. Duty ID card copy (front and back)

  6. Salary slip (last 3 months, signed and stamped)

** Original invitation to be sent by your relative in Malta if you are going to obtain Malta visa for visiting family or friends. Along with the invitation, there should be your relative's address, phone numbers, residence documents and identity information.

Consulates have the right to request additional documents. If the surname has changed, the passports have to be renewed. Children under the age of 12 do not need to provide fingerprints.People with green, gray and diplomatic passports can travel without a visa for a maximum of 90 days.

** Now everyone has to submit their files to the offices in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Gaziantep, Bursa, Antalya, Edirne, Bodrum and Trabzon.
